Canadian Earth Institute

Canadian nature and wildlife

CEI's hallmark program is a series of discussion courses, developed in Portland by the Northwest Earth Institute, but available to groups anywhere in Canada:

NEW Summer 2008 Workshops in Victoria BC

The Canadian Earth Institute adds to their sustainability discussion program with hands-on learning workshops about Permaculture Design and Natural Building in the Victoria BC area. (Schedule Flyer)
Artistic sculpting with earth material, natural plastering, and mosaic for cob will be offered by Stephanie from TerraCobba Designs. (Cob Art Flyer)
Permaculture design with food forests, guilds, and more will be instructed by Geoff Johnson, local systems expert.
(Permaculture Design Flyer)
Beth Cruise, CEI Executive Director, adds her skills as group facilitator and artist. Courses start July 11 and run most weekends to mid-August.
See Flyers for more details.

These self-facilitated discussion courses are taken informally by small groups in a home, workplace at noon, center of faith, or other place where people naturally gather.
