Introduction to Cob Building
Cob is a building material of clay, sand, water and earth that has been used for construction since early times. It creates ideal structures as cob is fireproof, resistant to seismic activity, and inexpensive. Cob materials are local, longlasting, non-toxic and low impact. It’s easy for anyone to learn cob building. Community is enhanced by building together. Cob building has seen a revival in recent years by the natural building and sustainability movement.
